What moves me
I don't travel to prove anything, but out of a deep sense of gratitude for being able to have these experiences. For me, travelling isn't just about places, but about encounters, about what moves within – and about the questions that arise from it.

From an early age, other cultures and perspectives have shaped me – through exchange programmes in countries like Belarus, Iran, and Japan, and through my first long cycling trips, including one to Rome and back. Later, I lived in Israel for a year, working there and travelling around the region. Further trips followed, which eventually took me by bicycle to Morocco and back.
Life on the road is simple. It's about the essentials – food, water, a place to sleep. And there's a peace and depth in that which I rarely find elsewhere.
This is countered by another life: studies, structure, a path that works externally. A completed business degree, security, conformity. And at the same time this feeling that something is missing. A longing that remains – for more depth, more honesty, more aliveness.
During this time, I began to search in other ways – through seminars, through movement, through music, through creative expression. Belly dancing, the Arabic language, art. Attempts to get closer to what cannot be easily grasped.
For me, travelling is also a confrontation with myself. With what is there – and with what might still be missing. At the same time, moments of clarity, connection, and genuine simplicity arise, which are often lost in everyday life.
With this page, I'd like to share a part of it – not as finished answers, but as an invitation to get a little closer to yourselves again. Perhaps these stories will remind you of something that has been there for a long time.
In this section, I share my passions, motivations, and personal stories that shape my journey.
